Negative ions act by creating a static charge around air pollutants floating around the room. Once charged with static electricity, these particles (dust, allergens, pet dander, etc.) become heavy and settle to the floor. Purify the air in your workshop.
Ultraviolet light effectively inactivates microorganisms by destroying DNA, which is responsible for cellular replication.
